Advantage Golf Cars, Inc.

It’s not often that I take to my business blog to talk about a local company that offers great service and price, but today I had a fantastic experience with Craig over at Advantage Golf Cars, Inc in Palm Desert.

From the moment I walked through the door until the moment I left, the experience was amazing to say the least.  Never once did I feel the sale pressure from Craig Finley who happens to be the general manage of the Palm Desert location.  I told Craig exactly what I wanted and what I was willing to spend on a golf cart, he came up with exactly what I wanted at a fair price.  A price that was $2,400 and $4,400 under the competition.

Unlike the competition who has been in the valley for 51 years, there was no pressure to buy now.  When I explained to the competition that I was shopping and would be back if I decided on their cart, they told me if I walked out the door the $4,400 savings wouldn’t be available when I returned.  I hate high pressure sales!  While Craig was a little cocky (I don’t mind a little cockiness in a sales person and he wasn’t offended when I started busting his balls.), he simply stated if “this was the cart I wanted, I’d be back and he’d honor the deal.”

Off I went to the third and final retail location located in the valley, to say I wasn’t impressed was an understatement.  To me the place appeared to be a glorified golf art gallery that happened to sell golf carts, overpriced golf carts at that.  At a price tag of almost $7,200 more too!  Needless to say I went back to Craig at Advantage Golf Cars and got the exact cart at the exact deal that we discussed earlier, he threw in a few upgrades too.

In these tough economic times it’s refreshing to see a company like Advantage Golf Cars offer fantastic service and great pricing, after shopping around it became clear that the other retailers are a bit overzealous in their pricing.  I commend Craig Finley for doing a great job, honoring his word and not resorting to high pressure sales to earn my business.
