Ed Brophy is a full service REALTOR® in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells and surrounding areas. Ed specializes in buying, selling, leasing, property management, short sales, foreclosures and asset management. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact him
Ed is no stranger to the mortgage and real estate industry, having spent 5 years as a Mortgage Banker and 5 years in real estate sales as a REALTOR®. His experience has taught him the importance and value of customer service. Ed continues to stay up on both real estate and mortgage by keeping an eye on the markets. You’ll be hard pressed to find a real estate professional with Ed’s knowledge.
Short Sale Specialist
Ed has been listing, working and CLOSING Short Sales for almost 5 years now, long before it became the rage to work with distressed Homeowners and properties. Ed does not use a third party negotiation company, nor does he need one. Ed likes to keep up on exactly WHERE each of his Short Sale Listings are in the process. That way, Ed can personally keep his Sellers and also the Buyers’ Agents informed as to the current status of the property.
“Short Sales are difficult, but I enjoy the challenge. I have worked with most of the Lenders over the years and have developed a Short Sale Strategy that gets them CLOSED. For more information on the Short Sale process, or a free property consultation, please give me a call or send an e-mail.”
Thank you for visiting my website. I look forward to putting my experience to work for you!
Business Motto and Areas of Expertise
Ed’s motto in business is helping his clients achieve greater peace of mind that their home purchase and mortgage payment fit within their budget guidelines. ”This is a win win for everyone, while fostering good will and mutual respect,” stated Ed in a recent interview. I adhere to a strict code of ethics, enabling you to feel at ease with the knowledge you are working with a professional advisor who will insure you get the home of your dreams and the best financing at the lowest cost.
My approach to business is simple. It is relationship-based versus transaction-based. I believe it is important to build trust before the transaction by talking extensively with clients about their goals for a property, how it fits into their life and how it will affect their financial future. Through this process I get a very clear picture of what will work best for their needs.
Today’s real estate environment is restrictive if sometimes not downright hostile. The level of scrutiny being exerted on borrowers is extreme compared with years past. The good news is that combining my mortgage and real estate expertise allows me to help clients choose from a wide variety of programs, lenders and their respective niche strengths. Further, with over four years in real estate services and five years mortgage lending experience under my belt, there are few times that a client’s situation will present a wrinkle that I haven’t dealt with successfully. While every transaction and client is unique, drawing upon knowledge and experience always serves the client well.
Service and integrity
Since my only source of business is referrals from satisfied clients and their circle of influence, it is incumbent upon me to endeavor to make each transaction not only fair but as seamless as possible. One of the great rewards of this business has been forging long- lasting relationships with my clients. Giving all of my clients the courtesy and attention to detail that they deserve while working aggressively to help them reach their goals has been a proven and mutually rewarding business model. My communication with borrowers is always forthright and born of the philosophy that “facts are friends.”
