Palm Springs: Quiet Intimate Getaway The Pool House Palm Springs

Palm Springs:  Quiet Intimate Getaway The Pool House Palm Springs

Do you need some time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life?  Are you looking for a quite intimate getaway?  If you answered yes than the The Pool House Palm Springs is the place for you!  I stumbled upon this fabulous intimate 6 room boutique hotel while eating at the Blue Pear Tex Mexx restaurant.

The owners have taken a beaten down old TramWay Inn and turned it into an amazing property.  Located just minutes from downtown Palm Springs the mid-century architecture and detailed design elements reminiscent of old Palm Springs.

The stylish rooms offer an elegant ambiance at an affordable price.  Each room offers detailed designed offering one or two queen beds, huge walk-in showers, stunning views of Mt. San Jacinto and all rooms open on to the pool deck.  Some of the rooms even have their very own wine cooler to keep your favorite bottle at just the right temperature!

The pool deck is adorned with chaise lounges for the sun worshipers or if you’re not a sun bunny you can relax in your very own cabana, some of which offer couches and fans making for a very inviting space to enjoy your adult beverage while relaxing or catching up with friends.

If you’re hungry don’t worry you can grab a quick snack or a complete meal from the connected Blue Pear Texx Mexx Restaurant.  Check out my review here.

Room rates are reasonable also!  During the season which runs November 15th through May 15th you can score one of these great rooms for $149.00 Sunday thru Thursday and $169 Friday and Saturday.  During the off season, May 16th through November 14th you can snake a room for $99.00 Sunday thru Thursday and $119.00 Friday and Saturday.

So what are you waiting for, you know you need some quiet time away in California’s Desert Oasis of Palm Springs.

I was just in Palm Springs looking at homes with Patrick Stewart Properties; the next time I'm there I definitely want to stay at The Pool House. It's such a great looking place with great prices, it's perfect for when I'm visiting and looking for my dream vacation home. Plus I love the mid-century modern style. Can't wait for my next visit to Palm Springs and am so glad I came across your blog!

Have you actually seen the rooms? They're very well done and the food at the Blue Pear is fantastic.

@ ewbrophy- No I haven't seen the rooms. The last time I was in town I stayed with friends and I've stayed at The Parker a couple of times. The Pool House intrigues me because it is so small and intimate, plus the restaurant attached sounds fabulous.
